If you've made it this far, you've either followed the link from the bottom of our flyer given out at the freshers fair or you've clicked the link from the front page of our website. Either way, congratulations :)
The University of Brighton Psychology Society is a society created in 2007 to further the interests of students studying psychology and related subjects within the university.
In our first year, we held a neuroscience fair, a seminar on presentation skills and held a joint pub quiz with the Criminology Society.
This year we are hoping to have a second neuroscience fair and some seminars by leading experts in psychology-related professions as well as some great social events including a repeat of the pub quiz and a joint event with Sussex Uni Psychology Society.
This is what you came for, admit it! The prize draw gives you an opportunity to win a range of prizes for both Eastbourne and Brighton based students. To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is:
- Join the Society (Use the form on the 'Contact Us' page to the left)
- Make your paper aeroplane (Either using the flyer from the freshers fair or by downloading a copy from here)
- E-mail us an action shot of your aeroplane (Either on a night out, day out, lecture or whatever takes your fancy - be creative!)
Be sure to include your name, a contact phone number, the degree you're studying, and which campus you're based at.
We will post the pictures on our Facebook group and allow all the members to look at and comment on them. The final date for entries is 24th October 2008 and the committee will announce the winners on 3rd November 2008.
Please note that the judges decision is final. You must be a member of the society to take part (it's free so what have you got to lose?) and you may only enter the competition once so be sure to send your best photo. Any photos posted on the Facebook group will not be considered entered into the prize draw.
All that remains for us to say is good luck and crack on with making your planes!
